This is me with my guy. He's doing some
kind of handstand trick or something.

Heard he went to a baseball game with some friends. I wasn’t invited.

Then he stopped at some farm that’s connected to the ride we’re making, but I didn’t understand much of it.

Finally, we made it to Tybee Island and checked in. This was my first chance to size up my fellow cycles. Some of them were pretty flashy, but I think I can hold my own.

He was whining a little about it being cold and raining, but that doesn’t bother me very much—as long as he stays upright.

Morning. Still raining and pretty windy. Without even consulting me, he decides we’re not going to ride. A bunch of the other humans did the same, so at least I wasn’t the only one.

It was soooo frustrating. Still, I guess it was the right thing to do. He’s taken some bad falls in the past, which hurts, I’m sure. No picnic for me either.

I was eager to get an early start the next morning, but he went to Sunday School AND church. When we finally did take off, it was a pretty short ride. I barely even broke a sweat (See what I did there? That’s funny. Bikes don’t sweat!)

Me again. Look at that beautiful shade of blue.

Saw a lot of pretty scenery and friendly people. He was waving at everybody. But I gotta keep my eyes on where the rubber meets the road. Tee hee.

Then a whole bunch of police cars showed up and gave us “blues and twos” all the way to the church. Yeah, that’s right. Another church.

All of us got the next day off while the humans kept themselves busy puttering around the place. My guy worked on a wheelchair ramp but wouldn’t let me try it out.

The next day (I don’t remember what day it was—they all run together) we were off again. Big town this time and more police. I think we got lost, but we saw some pretty cool stuff while the humans were trying to find their way back to the church.

My guy has a really bony butt! Puts dents in my saddle. Still, I wouldn’t trade him.

I heard some more whining about sleeping on the floor and having to cook their own meals. But if you ask me, we’re the ones doing most of the work. They just sit up there with their feet going round and round.

I’ll post again when I can.
